Build a Masjid, Earn a Palace

Build a Masjid, Earn a Palace

The masjid (mosque) is an essential part of the spiritual and social fabric of a Muslim community. It functions primarily as a safe place and environment for the worshipers to pray and contemplate. It also functions as the hub of Islamic education especially in providing programs for children to learn the Qur’an. Through diverse activities held at a mosque, Muslims learn more about the religion, their faith and the Islamic way of life and how to nurture their moral and spiritual development. Mosques are not only places of prayer for Muslims, but they also serve as educational institutions and a center of fellowship and learning for Muslims and the bigger community as well.

A masjid is the heart and center of Muslim life and community as it should function as a beacon of hope and help. Learning from history, the greatest quality of Prophet Muhammad’s masjid in Madinah, Masjid An-Nabawi, was that everyone felt they belonged there. A masjid should strive to establish a welcoming culture and environment by considering the spiritual, psychological, emotional, and physical needs of its community. Putting people first should be the main philosophy of every masjid.

Helping children in the Philippines

Jariyah Foundation provides children in the Philippines with assistance and access to education, healthcare, and basic needs in order to help them realize their full potential. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and that include having access to education, healthcare, and basic needs. We can empower children to build a better future for themselves and their communities. Through a range of programs and initiatives that prioritize sustainability and community engagement, we work to address the root causes of poverty and inequality, and ultimately creating a more equitable and just world. Together we are better!
